"Mom said I can't get my dress wet 'cuz Grandma's going to take my picture...but that wave coming is sure looking like it would be fun to jump into!"  This project is done using Prismacolor Nupastels and Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils or General's Pastel Pencils.  The Nupastels and the pastel pencils are considered "hard pastels".  They are available in art stores.  If you don't have a store near you, there are many online art stores.  The surface is Canson Mi-Teintes Paper (12 x 16).  This packet includes complete step by step instructions, a line drawing, and 6 photos.  If you have never tried pastels but have always wanted to, this may be the project for you.
